With the update to your Apple ID and iCloud accounts, users now have an additional layer of security with 2-step verification. While these verification steps are straightforward, they provide robust security, especially in cases of data theft.
Every time a device attempts to log into your iCloud, a verification code is promptly sent to your phone, ensuring a secure connection. Additionally, iCloud notifies you of the location where the login attempt is made, giving you complete control over your devices and iCloud account.
Unlocking Two-Factor Authentication on iPhone, iPad, and Macbook

Step 1: Access Settings and tap on Two Factor Authentication right at the top.
Note: This method applies only to the latest iOS 10.3 version.
Step 2: In the Two Factor Authentication section, simply Turn On to activate it, then log in to iCloud once again.
Step 3: Continue by entering the automatic Vietnam country code and then inputting your current phone number. There are two verification methods available: Text Message (automatically sending a text) and Phone Call (automatically making a verification call). Choose Text Message, and the system will promptly send a code to your device for activation.
After completing this activation step, you have successfully verified the two-step account on iPhone or iPad. Your iPhone or iPad device is now securely verified with a two-step account.
Step 3: For devices using iOS version 10.2.1 or earlier, follow these steps: Open Settings, then select iCloud and log in to your account.
Step 4: Proceed to click on Password & Security and choose Enable Two Factor Authentication to configure the two-step security as instructed above.

Step 1: First, click on the search icon on your Macbook.
Step 2: In the search section, type 'system ' and double-click on System Preferences .
Step 3: Moving within the System Preferences , search for 'icloud ' and click on the found result.
Step 4: After accessing iCloud , press Account Details to initiate the two-step account verification on Macbook .
Step 5: Select the Security tab and turn on the two-step account verification mode.
Step 6: Click on Continue to proceed with the confirmation.
Step 7: Enter your security question and continue. If forgotten, you can use the registered email for recovery.
Step 8: After completing the security question, enter your phone number as instructed at the beginning and input the code from your phone into your Macbook, then continue . This completes the two-step account verification on Macbook.
