What do you need when traveling to Thailand?
When traveling, it's best to optimize the luggage you need to bring, only choosing the necessary items, light clothes that are not too bulky. If you choose to visit temples in Thailand, don't forget to choose for yourself appropriate and discreet attire.
Regarding essential documents when traveling to Thailand, besides the mandatory passport, you should also bring your round-trip flight ticket, hotel booking confirmation, and travel itinerary for the smoothest immigration procedures.
For currency, Thailand uses the Baht and only accepts payments in Baht, not foreign currencies like some other countries. You can exchange money at gold shops with an exchange rate of 1 Baht ~ 749 VND before departure.

Suggested 3-day, 2-night itinerary for exploring Thailand
Day 1: Bangkok - Central World - Chinatown
After checking in at the 3-star Nasa Vegas Hotel at 10 am, we rested for a bit before taking a tuk-tuk to Central World - one of the top 5 famous shopping centers in Thailand. This place gathers almost all the shopping brands in the world and is extremely spacious. You can also visit Big C along the way, which is very different from Big C in Vietnam in terms of scale and items. Especially the prices are cheap compared to the quality customers receive, everything here makes you want to buy right away.

In the afternoon, we moved to Chinatown and the Khao San Road area nearby. Chinatown is famous as the street of the Chinese in Bangkok, where it gathers the cultural features of the Chinese and also has a distinctive cuisine that you cannot miss. In the evening, for those who like food and hustle and bustle: Chinatown is the right choice, it is always bustling with trading and food stalls open 24/24, from deep alleys to sidewalks outside the alleys. To make your journey to explore this neighborhood even better, don't miss the fun experiences in the China Town Thai street. Besides, Khao San Road is known as the most lively street in Bangkok and is worth experiencing the nightlife here.
Day 2: Royal Palace, Emerald Buddha Temple - Wat Pho Temple - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market - Khao San Road
In the morning, I visited the Royal Palace of Thailand (Grand Palace) and the Emerald Buddha Temple located within the palace grounds. The entrance fee is 500 Baht for adults. Then, I visited Wat Pho Temple (also known as the Reclining Buddha Temple) - one of the 5 most beautiful temples in Thailand and is also located near the Emerald Buddha Temple. The entrance fee is 100 Baht.

In the afternoon, I spent time eating, playing, and shopping at the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market. Here, they sell all kinds of fruits, utensils, specialties,.. but the unique point is that all these activities take place on the water instead of on land.
Day 3: Safari World Bangkok - Siam Central
In the morning, I visited Safari World Bangkok, which is a popular destination attracting many tourists to visit with many rare animals from around the world. Besides, Safari World also has very attractive daily tours waiting for you to explore. Safari World is open from 9 am to 5 pm.
