2. Sharing Screen with Audio on Zoom for PC
To share your computer screen with audio on Zoom for PC, follow these steps:
Step 1: Open the content you want to share, such as a YouTube video in a web browser or audio/video file on your computer. Step 2: Join the Zoom meeting or class and click the Share Screen button on the toolbar below the meeting screen.
Step 3: In the window displaying screens or applications you can share, click to select the content you want to share with meeting participants and check the Share sound option in the bottom left corner of the screen to share audio as well. Make sure you adjust the volume to an appropriate level.
- To choose to share Mono or Stereo sound, click on the arrow icon next to the Share sound option and check the desired selection.
Step 4: Finally, click the Share button in the bottom right corner of the screen to start sharing computer sound on Zoom.

3. Sharing Audio after Sharing Screen on Zoom
If you've already started screen sharing, you don't need to stop sharing to transmit computer audio. To share computer audio after you've begun screen sharing, simply click on More (the three-dot icon) on the toolbar appearing on the screen you're sharing. Then, select Share sound.
4. How to Share Music or Computer Audio on Zoom
If you only want to share music or computer audio without any accompanying content, follow these steps:
Step 1: Prepare the audio file you want to share.
Step 2: Join the Zoom meeting or class and click on the Share Screen button on the toolbar at the bottom of the meeting screen.
Step 3: In the window displaying the screens or applications that can be shared, switch to the Advanced tab and select Computer Audio.
You can choose to share Mono or Stereo audio by clicking on the arrow icon next to the Computer Audio option. Then, click on the Share button in the bottom right corner of the screen to start sharing.

1. How to Share Audio on Zoom for Android
During screen sharing, you can also share audio from your Android device if your device meets the following requirements:
- Running Android 10 or later
- Granted recording permission to Zoom.
- Non-system apps can record audio from the app you're sharing. Some apps may block audio sharing for security and privacy reasons.
Once you've ensured the above conditions, you need to update or download the latest version of Zoom for Android here. To share device audio on Zoom for Android, follow these steps:
Step 1: In a Zoom meeting, tap the Share button on the meeting controls and select Screen to share the entire screen.
Step 2: Your Android system will display a prompt notifying you of the screen sharing feature's access rights. Tap Start Now to confirm.
Step 3: Tap on the Share Audio option located between the Annotate and Stop Share options to share device audio.
Note: The Share Audio option only appears on devices running Android 10 or later.
- To stop sharing screen with audio on Zoom for Android, tap the Stop Share button.
2. How to Share Audio on Zoom for iOS
Zoom only supports the device audio sharing feature for iPhones running iOS 11 or later. To share screen with device audio on Zoom for iPhone, follow these steps:
Step 1: In a Zoom meeting on iPhone, tap the Share Content button on the meeting controls and select Screen to share your screen.
Step 2: Next, tap on Start Broadcast. After counting to 3, your iPhone screen will be shared in the meeting. Here, tap on the screen to view the meeting window and select Share Device Audio to enable or disable device audio sharing while sharing your screen.
