Batteries are essential for any modern tech device. I currently possess a total of 4 battery units. When purchasing the Sony A7IV, it came with 1 Sony FZ100 battery. Additionally, I acquired an authentic Sony spare battery, along with a set of 2 batteries and charger from RavPower, compatible with the Sony A7IV. Regarding the RavPower battery set, it consists of 2 battery units, a dual battery charging dock, and a microUSB to USB charging cable, priced around 700,000-900,000 VNĐ. Overall, it operates at approximately 80% capacity compared to the authentic Sony battery. If budget permits, opting for genuine Sony products is advisable; however, they come at a higher price point. I chose to invest in extra batteries due to my hands-on experience, finding it inconvenient when the battery runs out mid-task during photo shoots or filming sessions.
Having additional batteries extends your usage duration, allowing you to freely explore your creativity without constantly worrying about the battery percentage. I sincerely recommend investing in at least 1 spare battery to avoid being stuck in a passive state during critical moments.
Speaking of memory card capacity for the Sony A7IV, my advice is for those who provide services to opt for a minimum 128GB card for convenience. This is because the file sizes of photos and videos produced by the Sony A7IV are quite high. On average, with a 64GB card, you can store around 500-600 images, including both uncompressed RAW and JPG formats.
