Guide on Wi-Fi Sharing on Windows 8 with Connectify
Firstly, if your device doesn't have Connectify yet, you can download Connectify here.
Step 1: Start the application, if you see the Service is not running notification, click on the Start Service button below.
Step 2: On the main interface, select the Settings tab, then choose Wi-Fi Hotspot.
Step 3: In the Internet to Share section, select the type of network connection you're using. If you're using a wired connection like Mytour, choose accordingly. If you're using Wi-Fi, select Wi-Fi.
Step 4: Next, choose Routed under the Network Access section.
Step 5: In this step, you need to enter the name and password for your Wi-Fi. Enter the Wi-Fi name in the Hotspot Name section and the Wi-Fi password in the Password section.
Step 6: Finally, click on the Start Hotspot button to start broadcasting Wi-Fi. When you want to turn off the Wi-Fi signal, simply press the Stop Hotspot button.
