Specifically, replacing the battery for current models now costs $89, up by $20 from previous repair costs. The $89 price applies to iPhone 13 and newer models, while battery replacement for older iPhone models, from 12 and earlier, now costs $69. Battery replacement for older models remains at $99, unchanged from before.
Furthermore, battery replacement costs for out-of-warranty iPads have also increased by $20, now applying to 5th generation and earlier 12.9-inch iPads, 3rd generation and earlier 11-inch iPad Pros, as well as 10.5-inch and 9.7-inch iPad Pro models. Currently, the replacement cost for these devices is $119.
Battery replacements for the latest iPad Pro models continue to be priced at $179 for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro and $149 for the 11-inch iPad Pro.
Mac Battery Replacement Costs Surge from $30 to $50. As a result, users looking to replace the battery in MacBook Air models will have to fork out up to $159, while the cost for MacBook Pro models is $249.
Note that these price levels are for out-of-warranty battery replacements and do not include AppleCare+. If you have AppleCare+, battery replacement will be free of charge.
