Liên Quân audience can't help but feel disappointed by the performance of Vietnam's representatives at AIC 2023.
Yesterday afternoon, the final matches of the Group Stage AIC 2023 took place, determining the teams advancing in the international Liên Quân Mobile tournament. Here, something no Vietnamese Liên Quân fan wanted happened: all three representatives Saigon Phantom, V Gaming, GG Live faced bitter results, leaving the tournament with disappointment. Based on rankings, VGM and SGP are at joint 9th and 10th positions, GGL and MD will jointly rank 11th and 12th. These teams leave with a prize money of 2,000 USD (approximately 50 million VND).

Immediately after the match, Lai Bâng sent a message to the community: 'Apologies to the fans. I know an apology doesn't mean much, but I still want to apologize. I've let everyone down'.

Before that, Saigon Phantom - the reigning APL champions, V Gaming - last season's AIC champions, GG Live were all rising strongly, eager to conquer. Additionally, being the host country, they received direct encouragement and support from fans. Therefore, the halt in the group stage for these three names is nothing short of a shock to the community, leaving fans grieving, disappointed, surprised, and even struggling to accept.

Across Esports forums, there's a wave of dreary comments and constant criticism aimed at the players. Among them, many players, even those who hadn't planned beforehand, are collectively demanding to 'quit the game' due to extreme disappointment with the recent developments at AIC 2023.

Of course, there are still patient fans cheering on, comforting Lai Bâng, Maris, Quang Hải,... Former player Elly (Đạt Cận) - a former member of Team Flash - doesn't hesitate to speak 'words of wisdom', hoping that his friend will soon recover from the 'shock' in this profession.
