This is the most common method to adjust screen brightness on newer laptop models. Except for very old models, most commonly used laptops nowadays have keys directly assigned for adjusting screen brightness on the keyboard using the Fn key combined with another key depending on the manufacturer. Each laptop model will have different shortcut key combinations.
For example, with Dell Inspiron laptops, the shortcut key combination for adjusting screen brightness will be Fn+F4/F5
For Lenovo G laptops, the shortcut key combination for adjusting screen brightness will be Fn+F11/F12

Adjust screen brightness using commands
Step 1: On the Windows interface, press the Windows + R key combination to open the Run window, type in the command line: mblctr
Step 2 : In the newly opened window, click on the scroll bar to adjust the Display brightness settings, use the mouse or keyboard arrow keys to adjust the screen brightness to the most suitable level.
