With just a few simple steps, you can both admire and savor these gorgeous oranges.
Check out these 2 methods to carve oranges for Tet and impress your family and guests!
Method 1:
Ingredients:
- 1 large-sized orange (choose a large one)
- 1 carving knife

Execution:
Step 1: Divide the orange peel into 8 equal parts. Use a knife to cut from the top to near the end of the orange.

Step 2: Gently separate each petal of the orange peel.

Step 3: Then, use a knife to cut small lines on both ends.

Step 4: Fold the petals close to the base of the orange fruit, and you'll have a dazzling 8-petal orange blossom.

Step 5: From the basic step, you can trim into various shapes according to each flower pattern we share.

Sometimes, just a little twist, and you'll completely refresh an everyday dessert.
Method 2:
Execution:
Step 1: Use the tip of a knife to cut a curved line from the stem of the orange down about 1.7cm. Then, make another symmetrical line to create the petals. Repeat this for all petals. Then gently work the trimmed orange peel away from the flesh, but leave it attached near the stem so the 'flower petals' remain connected to the orange flesh at the base.

Step 2: Flip the orange over and trim the flower petals at the base of the orange similarly to the top part.

Step 3: Finally, use a knife to gently remove the peel around the flesh of the orange (the part that doesn't form flower petals).

This way, you'll have two flowers, one above, one below the orange, looking very appealing. If you don't eat the orange immediately, you can wrap it in plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator.
Wishing you success with these two stunning ways to arrange Tet trays with beautiful flower decorations.
