After enduring several disappointing seasons, ShowMaker is determined to reclaim his former glory like never before.
Following two short-lived years of glory, ShowMaker and the Damwon Gaming squad have plummeted. Despite two name changes, their luck hasn't changed, and in Spring 2023, Dplus KIA (DK) performed even worse. They left empty-handed after losing to Hanwha Life Esports in the first round of playoffs.

Certainly, this performance couldn't satisfy ShowMaker. Known for his strong personality, he was once seen as Faker's successor. However, ShowMaker's continuous decline has also been a significant factor contributing to DK's poor results. His image, head bowed in silence after losing to HLE, left fans feeling sorry for one of the most outstanding Mid Laners LCK has ever produced, since Faker's era.

Therefore, ShowMaker himself cannot accept failure indefinitely. Especially now, in Spring 2023, he has gradually regained his image, although not yet returned to his peak performance. In a recent interview, ShowMaker asserted firmly: 'During the summer break, I will increase my training time. I am willing to sacrifice my health for strength when competing. I am even willing to do whatever it takes to perform well in the Summer Split.'

Of course, ShowMaker understands that League of Legends is a 5-player game, and to win, DK needs all 5 players to be in their best form. But surely, ShowMaker will spare no effort, as he has never been a player who easily accepts defeat.
In the coming time, the attention of the LoL community will be focused on MSI 2023. However, DK players have their own plans. And the audience has the right to expect the efforts of ShowMaker in particular, as well as the DK team as a whole, to bring positive results in the Summer Split 2023.
