The husband, holding his phone while playing games, glanced up to the screen only to hear a faint sob. He turned to see his wife with tears streaming down her face as she graded students' homework.
Seeing this, he hurriedly asked his wife:
– “Hey honey, what's wrong? Why are you suddenly crying?”
Tears still flowing, the wife choked out:
– “Yesterday,… I assigned the kids a homework essay titled ‘My Dream…’.” (At this point, the wife broke down into sobs unable to continue her sentence.)
– “I get it, but why are you crying?” – The husband continued to press while his eyes and hands were busy with a suspenseful game.
– “This last essay... made me cry!”
– “How can an essay by a child make you cry?” – Unable to hide his curiosity, the husband raised his face to ask his wife with affectionate hesitation.
– “Listen to this…” – The wife read slowly, tears still streaming down her face.

“Our child's dream is just to become a mobile phone. Our parents love mobile phones so much that they care more about them than us. When dad comes home from work, no matter how tired he is, he just sits and plays with his phone, forgetting about us...
Stunned for a few seconds after hearing the essay, the husband hesitantly asked his wife:
– “Which trickster wrote this essay, my dear?”
Raising her teary eyes to her husband, she choked out:
– “Our son,”
Try to reconsider how much time you spend with your child versus your phone every day… Spend more time caring for and talking to your child because a lifeless phone can never give you the love that human connection can.
