When performing electronic transactions on the VssID application or with the Social Insurance Electronic Information Portal on your phone or computer, you will receive relevant notifications and verification codes via your personal email. This enhances the security of your transaction account, especially for complex government accounts. If you do not have a BHXH transaction email yet, here is a guide on how to change your email on VssID using the BHXH Vietnam Public Service Portal.

1. Why is an email necessary for conducting electronic transactions with BHXH?
The IT Center (BHXH Vietnam) has issued Circular No. 2191/CNTT-PM regarding the change in notification and OTP delivery methods for individual electronic transactions with the Social Insurance Agency.
Accordingly, with a personal email, when you conduct individual electronic transactions with the Social Insurance Agency, you will receive:
- Notification: Successful submission of individual electronic transaction registration (including registration for children).
- Notification: Account and password when the Social Insurance Agency approves electronic transaction account registration.
- Notification: One-time password (OTP).
- Notification: Successful submission of electronic transaction documents and when the Social Insurance Agency completes processing.
- Notification: To the organization/individual when submitting electronic transaction documents and when the Social Insurance Agency completes processing.
2. How to change email on VssID
Step 1. Access the Vietnam Social Insurance e-Services Gateway through the link below. Proceed to Log in with your BHXH ID (last 10 digits of your Health Insurance card) and Password (VssID). If you don't have an account, select Register.
Step 2. After successful login, choose the Account icon > Account Information.
Step 3. Scroll down to the Email section, select the pencil icon to add your personal Email. Once completed, press Save.
