Follow the steps to register and create a Microsoft Azure account
Previously, registering for an Azure account was quite challenging and involved seeking assistance from friends or relatives abroad. However, this barrier has been lifted because Microsoft has officially introduced Azure in Vietnam.
In this guide, Mytour will assist you in creating a free Azure account, especially if you are still a student with limited income. We will also guide you through the process of registering for Azure, including entering credit card/debit card information for payment.
Guide to Azure Registration
* To register for Azure, you need to prepare
Microsoft currently offers support policies for students. Therefore, if you don't have a VISA or Mastercard, you can utilize the free package by following these registration steps:
Step 1: Visit Microsoft Azure directly HERE
Next, click Activate Now to proceed with the login.
Step 2: Sign in normally using your Microsoft account (the account registered at live.com)
Step 3: Afterwards, choose Verification Method as School Email Address -> then, input the email into the two fields as shown in the image below. The upper section is for entering the email, and the lower part is to re-enter the same email. Note that this should be your school email, typically provided by your educational institution.
Step 4: Once you've entered the details, click on Verify academic status, and Microsoft will send a confirmation email to the provided email. Access the email you just entered -> then follow the steps outlined in the email. Once completed, you'll have a free Azure account to explore.

2. Azure registration for those who have graduated and possess a credit card
To follow this method, you'll need a Credit card or MasterCard for registration. If you don't have one, explore what MasterCard is, where to get it, which bank offers it -> research and refer to the link provided on Mytour.
Once you have the card, proceed with the following steps:
Step 1: Visit the Visual Studio Dev Essential page directly by clicking HERE
Next, click on Join or Access Now, then log in with your Microsoft account similar to the instructions in part 1 above.
You'll encounter a confirmation interface upon logging in; choose Confirm to proceed.
Step 2: After successfully logging in, you'll see the perks for this Dev Essential package displayed.
Click on Activate just below the word Azure to initiate the activation.
Step 3: Immediately, you'll be directed to a new tab -> here, input your email and phone number for confirmation.
After completing the verification, proceed to enter Credit card or MasterCard information-> follow the instructions, then click Next to continue -> then follow the remaining steps to successfully complete Azure registration.
Step 4: Login to Azure with the newly created account
After creating an Azure account, go to https://portal.azure.com directly HERE, log in with the account you just created.
Once you see the Azure Dashboard, indicating your account creation was successful -> click on Start tour to be ready for exploration and to perform the provided demos.
