Currently, the SMS Connect feature is only available for Skype users on Android. The deployment of this feature for other users might take some time. Skype officially rolls out the SMS Connect feature.

Microsoft emphasizes that the SMS Connect feature cannot entirely replace the SMS experience on mobile devices. Skype will only activate the connection on computers, allowing users to respond to messages directly without having to reach for their phones.
