Skype states that the PayPal money transfer feature is now available to users in 22 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Spain.
Skype users can now transfer money via PayPal
Users need to link their PayPal account to their Skype profile. In a Skype conversation, users simply swipe right, tap on Send Money, and PayPal will process the money transfer almost instantly.

Although users can already use Skype to transfer money via PayPal, both the sender and receiver must reside in one of the 22 supported countries to utilize this latest Skype feature.
PayPal within Skype supports regular currency exchange. For example, if a user sends money from the United States to someone living in Europe, they will have the option to send money in euros.
The feature to transfer money via PayPal requires the latest Skype version for iOS, available for free on the App Store. You can download Skype for iPhone here. However, recipients can install any version of Skype.
