So, what is humanitarian spirit? It is the compassionate heart that always shares empathy with those around. Individuals with a humanitarian spirit are quick to forgive the mistakes of others. Each of us needs to have a humanitarian spirit. It is a beautiful way of life for humans. Those with a humanitarian spirit live for those around them and care for them. People with a humanitarian spirit have happy and joyful relationships in society and family. Those with a humanitarian spirit are always ready to help and share with those in difficult circumstances. If someone makes a mistake, those with a humanitarian spirit will generously forgive them. Acts and gestures that express humanitarian spirit are sometimes small actions like giving a piece of bread to a beggar, rescuing a lost dog, or supporting those in remote and difficult circumstances. People with a humanitarian spirit are ready to help those situations without calculation or personal gain. They view life with eyes full of love.
Ancient wisdom often reminded us of the importance of kindness and love for those around us through folk sayings like 'A good leaf shelters the torn one' and 'Oh gourd, cherish the secret together...' These proverbs emphasize the need to love with a heart willing to share and empathize with those facing difficulties and unfortunate adversities. In literature, we encounter the compassionate spirit in various characters. It is the compassionate spirit of the younger sister in the story 'The Painting of My Sister.' The older brother, out of jealousy and self-doubt, distances himself from his younger sister. But in the end, the younger sister chooses to paint her older brother in the international painting competition. Similarly, the compassionate spirit of the elderly Bomen towards Gionxi in the short story 'The Last Leaf' when she was sick. On a snowy night, the old man painted a spring leaf on the wall. Seeing that leaf, Gionxi found the strength to overcome her illness, and eventually, she recovered. The old man's compassionate spirit revived her, but sadly, he passed away.

The compassionate spirit helps those who have lost their way to return to the path of goodness. However, in life, there are still selfish individuals who only think of themselves. They live secluded lives, harboring hatred and selfishness towards others. Such individuals can never live in peace.
In life, people with a compassionate heart are always esteemed. Let us always know how to love, help, and share with those around us. Only with a compassionate spirit does life become beautiful and profoundly meaningful!
