Guidelines for solving Exercise 2 on Pages 96-97 Math Grade 5
Exercise 2 Prompt: Given line segment AB = 4cm, draw circles with centers A and B, each with a radius of 2cm.
To solve: First, draw a circle with center A and radius 2 cm. Then, open the compass so that the distance between the needle and the pencil is 2 cm. Place the needle at point A, press the pencil tip against the paper, and rotate it once around. Repeat the same steps for circle with center B, radius 2 cm.
