Guidelines for solving Exercise 1 on page 22 Math 5
Solution method:
Rules for comparing two numbers:
- The number with more digits will be larger, and vice versa, the number with fewer digits will be smaller.
- When two numbers have the same number of digits: Compare each pair of digits at the same position from left to right:
+ The number with the larger digit at the same position is larger
+ If two numbers have each pair of digits at the same position equal, then the two numbers are equal.
