Method of Solution:
To add or subtract fractions with unlike denominators, follow these steps:
- Step 1: Find a common denominator for the fractions to bring them to the same denominator
- Step 2: Once the fractions have a common denominator, subtract the numerator of the first fraction from the numerator of the second, keeping the denominator the same.
