Guidelines for solving Exercise 2 on Page 98 of Math 5 Textbook Practice
Solution method:
- Divisibility by 3 indicator: The sum of the digits in the number is divisible by 3, then the number is divisible by 3.
- Divisibility by 9 indicator: The sum of the digits in the number is divisible by 9, then the number is divisible by 9.
- A number that is divisible by both 3 and 2 must have a sum of digits divisible by 3 and have the last digit as 0, 2, 4, 6, or 8.
