Solution method:
- Even numbers have the last digit as 0, 2, 4, 6, 8.
- Odd numbers have the last digit as 1, 3, 5, 7, 9.
Answers:
a) For digits 3, 4, 6, the even three-digit numbers are:
346 ; 364 ; 436 ; 634.
b) For digits 3, 5, 6, the odd three-digit numbers are:
365 ; 563 ; 635 ; 653.
