Solution Method:
- Comparing decimal numbers:
+ Compare the whole numbers as natural numbers: The decimal number with the larger whole number part is greater, and vice versa
+ When their whole number parts are equal, move on to compare the decimal parts: Compare each digit from left to right... until a certain position, the decimal number with the larger digit at that position is greater, and vice versa
- From comparing decimal numbers, we arrange the numbers in ascending order: The smallest number comes first, followed by larger numbers, and finally the largest number in the sequence.
Answer:
a) The decimal numbers in ascending order are as follows: 4.203 ; 4.23 ; 4.5 ; 4.505
b) The decimal numbers in ascending order are as follows: 69.78 ; 69.8 ; 71.2 ; 72.1
