Guidelines for solving Exercise 2 on page 21 of Mathematics Grade 5
Problem Statement:
A reserve kitchen has enough rice for 120 people for 20 days. In reality, 150 people are dining. How many days will the reserve rice last? (Assuming equal food consumption per person).
Solution Method:
- Step 1: Calculate the number of days for one person to consume the rice by multiplying the number of individuals by 20
- Step 2: Determine the number of days for 150 people to consume that reserve of rice by dividing the number of days for one person to finish the rice by 150.
