Solution method:
To determine who eats more cakes between Mai and Hoa, we compare the number of cakes each ate. In other words, we compare 3/8 and 2/5.
- Since the fractions have different denominators => We make the denominators of the two fractions equivalent, then compare the numerators. If the numerator of one fraction is larger, then that fraction is greater.
