Some Travel Tips for Celebrating Songkran 2024 in Thailand
Flight and hotel prices will soar during the Songkran festival. You can book flights/accommodations several months in advance to get good prices, although slightly higher costs compared to the usual are inevitable.
Adhere to the water splashing principle: only use clean water and light spray water guns (high-pressure guns are prohibited), and avoid spraying into others' eyes.
Carry a waterproof bag or ziplock bag to keep your electronic devices safe. Choose appropriate clothing - lightweight and comfortable, without religious or political significance. Avoid white or translucent clothing when wet.
