A theft has just rocked Sony.
A shocking theft has occurred at Sony Life Insurance Company Ltd, a subsidiary of SONY. The stolen amount amounts to $154 million, and the culprit used it to purchase Bitcoin.
According to documents released by US law enforcement agencies, the perpetrator who stole $154 million from SONY is named Rei Ishii, an employee of the company. Using the BCE method (Business Email Compromise), Rei Ishii gained access to critical company information and stole money when the opportunity arose.

After successfully stealing a huge amount of money, Rei Ishii used it to purchase 3879 Bitcoin on Coinbase. To conceal his actions, this offender withdrew all of these Bitcoins to a personal cold wallet and stored them at his private residence.
Rei Ishii's plan fell apart when the FBI intervened. Through various investigative measures, the FBI tracked down Rei Ishii and seized the evidence, a cold wallet containing 3879 Bitcoin.
Tokyo police swiftly apprehend 32-year-old Ishii, charging him with conspiring to steal $154 million.
