The post suggests that the camera layout on the next flagship Sony model will be similar to that of the Sony Xperia Pro-I, except for an additional rotating ring around the lens.
The next generation Sony Xperia Pro will come with a camera rotation ringSources indicate that this rotation ring may control one of three features simultaneously. The Xperia Pro-I already had variable aperture on the main camera, and according to sources, its successor may borrow a zoom lens with adjustable focal length from the Xperia 1 series.
However, the sharer of this information expressed doubts that Sony could build a system capable of smoothly adjusting aperture. On the Pro-I, you could only switch aperture between f/2.0 and f/4.0 without any other values in between.
Xperia Pro-IThe Sony Xperia Pro-II may be planned for release next year, three years after the Pro-I appeared on the market. We will start seeing more detailed leaks about this as the launch date approaches. According to a previous leak, the Pro-II will be upgraded in all three rear cameras. Let's stay tuned!
