Guide to Watching TV with Sopcast
Step 1: Download and install Sopcast, you can download the latest version of Sopcast here: Download Sopcast
After installation, launch the program.
Step 2: The Sopcast interface opens, prompting you to log in to use the software.
If you don't have an account, you can log in to Sopcast by clicking on the empty box next to Login as Anonymous, then select Login. The system will automatically log you into the software as an anonymous user.
If you want to use it for the long term, you can register for an account. You can access the Create a new account line to register as a member.
Registering as a member is completely free. Once you have a Sopcast member account, you just need to click on the Login using My Current Account box.
Enter your login name information in the box below the
Account name line and type your access password in the box below the
Password line. For example, in the image, the
Account name is
[email protected] and the
Password is the password you registered with.
Step 3: After logging in, the system will switch to a new window. If you want to watch entertainment programs such as music, movies, TV shows, you can select the Live Channels option, then find the program you want to watch and click.
For example, if you want to watch Prima TV channel, simply check the line 122835. Prima TV(1011k). The system will automatically open another window with the Windows Media Player program.
Initially, Sopcast only has a few TV channels. If you want to add more channels, you can search for them on the Internet.
Step 4: Then, if successful, the program will start broadcasting. But if the TV channel cannot connect, you will see the message “Channel is offline now”.
