Explore Dak Lak, still a novel destination. However, it doesn't lack breathtaking landscapes. Your Dak Lak journey would be incomplete without a visit to Thủy Tiên Falls. This place, amidst pristine primary forests, is connected to a waterfall that stretches over 3km, adorned with beautiful rock formations and intertwining tree roots.
Thủy Tiên Falls is one among myriad waterfalls in Daklak. It is not only beautiful in form but also rich with the legend of the water fairy passed down through generations.
Once upon a time in this region, a calamity befell the village. Strangely, the wrath of 'Giàng' persisted, causing the rivers to dry up. Many villagers suffered from hunger and thirst. Among them were the newlyweds, H’ Năng and her husband. Witnessing the dire situation, H’ Năng couldn't bear it. In solidarity with the young men of the village, her 'husband' set off on a distant journey to find new land. However, seasons passed, and there was no sign of his return.

H’ Năng waited tirelessly, her heart filled with longing for her husband and sorrow for the dying village. Witnessing the slow demise due to hunger, disease, and despair, she decided to embark on a journey to find her husband and a new homeland. Exhausted, she collapsed beside a dry stream. 'Giàng,' moved by her unwavering loyalty, made the rain pour. Rivers and streams quickly filled with life again, but H’ Năng could not be revived. Her hair stretched along the small stream, turning into a beautiful and graceful waterfall, a tribute to the gentle and loyal spirit of the Ede girl - 'Thủy Tiên.' The village named the river flowing through this land after her, calling it 'H’Năng,' a perpetual reminder of the legend of a girl intertwined with the pristine and poetic 'Thủy Tiên' waterfall.
