1. Speech My Thoughts on Accepting Blame and Blaming Others Model 1:
Greetings, esteemed teacher and fellow classmates! Allow me to represent our group as we present on the topic: 'Taking Responsibility versus Blaming Others.'
Undoubtedly, each of us has made mistakes before. So, what do you do when faced with one? Do you bravely confront the truth and accept fault, or do you cowardly shift blame onto others to avoid judgment? I believe everyone here has, at some point, succumbed to such cowardice. I, too, have been weak like that. In life, many still wander down that path. Instead of owning up to their actions, they always pass the buck onto circumstances and those around them. Their go-to excuse when questioned about their mistakes is always 'Because of...', blaming this or that. It's deceitful and shows a lack of self-respect for both oneself and others.
Have you ever wondered why both you and others are so willing to lie and blame others to justify yourselves? In my view, it stems from individuals' inability to find solutions to their own problems. We're quick to shirk responsibility and pass it off to others to avoid bearing the burden, dealing with the consequences. Furthermore, it demonstrates poor self-awareness and an inability to face reality.
Over time, we develop the habit of blaming others, soothing ourselves to protect our fragile egos. Regularly shifting blame onto others will make you lose the ability to take responsibility for everything; lose respect in the eyes of others; and hinder your growth, preventing you from learning from life's stumbles and errors.
That's why it's crucial for us to embrace change every day. By daring to change, you'll find a sense of ease, freeing yourself from worries or inappropriate behaviors. Furthermore, you'll recognize your capabilities in current circumstances and upcoming situations. Harnessing these insights, you'll gradually let go of the habit of blaming others for your actions.
I hope those of you sitting here will gain a proper understanding of the consequences of blaming others and commit to self-improvement and daily growth. Only by doing so can our lives become vibrant and meaningful!
That concludes my presentation. Thank you, teacher, and classmates, for listening attentively!

2. Sample Speech: My Reflection on Taking Responsibility and Blaming Others #2:
In today's speaking and listening practice, I'll share my thoughts and opinions on taking responsibility and blaming others. For the sake of presentation, I'll refer to myself as 'I.' I hope you, teacher, and classmates will listen attentively!
Until now, I vividly remember a story about blaming others. It happened many years ago during a mango stealing escapade with my friends. I got caught by the neighbor. To evade punishment, I shifted blame onto my buddy next to me, saying, 'He made me do it!' Eventually, the poor kid got scolded harshly by the neighbor and sat there crying. It wasn't until later that I realized how wrong and cowardly that behavior was.
I'm sure many of you can relate, having also blamed others to protect yourselves.
In society, there are many such individuals. They always shirk responsibility when faced with issues beyond their control. They persuade themselves then lull themselves to sleep believing: everything is someone else's fault.
The reasons they become cowardly, weak originate from their inability to confront themselves, excessive fear when mistakes occur, selfishness, evading responsibility, shifting blame onto others to secure their own interests. When consequences arise, they only protect their fragile, weak 'self' and ignore those around them in the chaos they cause. Furthermore, laziness, hedonistic lifestyles along with boundless greed have turned them into heartless individuals, ready to go against societal morals and community interests.
The phenomenon of blaming others leaves serious consequences, first for oneself, then for society. The act of blaming turns each person into someone irresponsible, immoral, afraid to face difficulties and challenges, hindering them from achieving success. Blaming also creates internal divisions within a group. Everyone is in a state of pushing work, blame onto others. The resulting consequences remain unaddressed and become increasingly sluggish, severe when individuals fail to take responsibility for themselves.
Therefore, taking responsibility brings valuable lessons. Those who admit and correct their mistakes will be respected and valued by everyone, forming proper awareness and habits. Taking responsibility signifies self-esteem and shows respect for others. Society will develop, become civilized when everyone forms the habit of taking responsibility.
Understanding the consequences of blaming others as well as the significance of admitting and correcting mistakes, I hope you will change for the better. Only when individuals strive can the collective, community, and society become better.
That concludes my presentation. Thank you, teacher, and classmates, for listening.
Blaming others and shifting blame is a condemnable behavior. I hope you will gain proper awareness of taking responsibility and blaming others to improve yourselves. Wishing you high achievements in your studies.
