II. Referential Speech on a Cultural Address in My Current Location
Hello, Ms. and everyone. I am Huyen My. In today's class, I would like to present about a cultural address in my hometown. The place I want to introduce is Bo Da Pagoda.
When mentioning the land along the Cau River - Viet Yen district, everyone would think of the Historical site Bo Da Pagoda - an ancient and sacred temple. According to legend, the temple dates back to the Ly dynasty (11th century). The temple is located in Tien Son commune, Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province.
Chua Bo Da can be considered an exemplary temple as it still preserves the ancient traditional architectural features. Unlike traditional temples in the Northern part of our country, Bo Da Temple is built in the architectural style of 'internal connectivity, external isolation.'
Bo Da Temple consists of five main parts: the main Tuyet Mon temple, the tower garden, Tam Duc shrine, Cao Temple, and Mieu Pond. Firstly, the main Tuyet Mon temple is considered the internal area, built during the reign of King Le Hien Tong. The name of the temple carries the meaning of teaching monks and Buddhists to repay the four (tu) favors (an): favor from heaven and earth, favor from the country, favor from the teacher, and favor from parents. Next is Tam Duc shrine. Named 'Tam Duc' shrine, the founders hope that monks practicing here will develop three virtues: intelligence, morality, and gratitude. Cao Temple differs from Tuyet Mon Temple and Tam Duc shrine. It was built earlier, during the Ly dynasty. People also refer to the temple as Quan M or Mr. Bo's temple. The Mieu Pond area is where the generals and military commanders are worshipped. Finally, the tower garden of Bo Da Temple covers an area of nearly 8,000 m2.
In addition to its ancient and unique architecture, the temple is also famous for its collection of ancient woodblocks. Nearly 2000 woodblocks made of wood dating back to the time of King Le are still well-preserved. In December 2017, the woodblocks at the temple were officially recognized by the state as a national treasure.
Today, the Bo Da Temple festival is often held in the second lunar month, bringing a lively and joyful atmosphere to the people. Besides, Bo Da has become a familiar place for practitioners. It is also a place where people express their gratitude to ancestors and the Buddha. Bo Da Temple will always be a repository of the beautiful cultural values of the nation.
I hope that, if you have leisure time, you and your friends can visit Bo Da Temple to explore its beauty firsthand.
This concludes my presentation. Thank you, ma'am, and everyone for listening.

II. Reference Speech for Presentation on Den Hung Festival or Kate Festival (Ninh Thuan)
Greetings, ma'am and everyone. My name is Thuc Anh. Today, I'd like to talk about the Den Hung Festival.
Since time immemorial, our forefathers had a saying, 'No matter who goes against or goes along/ Remember the anniversary of our ancestors on the tenth day of the third month.' Every year on the 10th day of the lunar month, our people turn towards the sacred land of Phu Tho. The Den Hung Festival takes place from the first to the tenth day of the third lunar month. During this period, the ceremonial activities are of utmost significance, especially on the 10th day. At that time, government representatives will commence the incense offering at the Upper Temple. People also visit and offer incense at other temples. Usually, the ceremonial offerings include a tray of five fruits along with square and round glutinous rice cakes. This tradition has been passed down for a long time, aiming to recall the legend of 'Chung cake and Giay cake,' while expressing gratitude to the Hung Kings.
The Den Hung Festival also hosts an exceptionally vibrant fair. Numerous folk cultural activities are organized during the festival. You might come across groups of people dressed in ancient costumes participating in traditional processions. Alternatively, you can visit spaces hosting Xoan singing, drum performances, Banh Giay wrapping competitions, and Banh Chung wrapping competitions.
The Den Hung Festival can be considered a repository of profound spiritual and cultural values. It serves as a reminder of our nation's rich historical roots. As a Vietnamese, each individual should be conscious of their responsibility in preserving and passing on such precious traditions.
This concludes my presentation. Thank you, ma'am and everyone, for your attentive listening.

II. Reference Speech for Presentation on the Historical and Cultural Site of Hoang Thanh Thang Long
Hello, ma'am and everyone. I am Minh Tu. In today's lesson, I would like to present about the Historical and Cultural Site of Hoang Thanh Thang Long.
As you may know, in the past, King Ly Thai To moved the capital from Hoa Lu (Ninh Binh) to Thang Long. In the 'Edict on the Transfer of the Capital,' the king affirmed that this place is the 'area between heaven and earth, with the dragon spiraling and the tiger sitting.' Therefore, throughout thousands of years of history, most dynasties chose Thang Long as their capital.
Inside Hoang Thanh are smaller historical sites such as the Hanoi Flagpole, the North Gate, archaeological relics, Kinh Thien Palace, Doan Mon Gate, Hau Lau Pavilion, and the D67 Revolutionary House. These sites, including the Hanoi Flagpole, the North Gate, archaeological relics, Kinh Thien Palace, Doan Mon Gate, Hau Lau Pavilion, showcase unique architecture typical of the feudal period. Particularly, the D67 Revolutionary House is located underground. This is where the Central Party Committee and the Central Military Commission met to formulate historical strategies during the resistance war against the United States.
Today, the Historical and Cultural Site of Hoang Thanh Thang Long is not as intact as the Ancient Capital of Hue. However, it has left behind numerous significant historical and cultural values for the entire nation. In December 2022, experts conducted excavations at this site, covering an area of approximately 19,000m2. After a period of exploration, they discovered many traces and millions of artifacts from different periods. These are clear and worthy evidence of the splendid development of Thang Long Citadel. From here, we can take even greater pride in the history of our ancestors and our nation.
Ladies and gentlemen, my presentation concludes at this juncture. I extend my gratitude to both the esteemed teacher and the attentive audience for their kind consideration.
