This specially designed SD card is made to fit snugly into the SD card slot on a MacBook. Once inserted, it stays flush, eliminating any protrusion seen in other SD cards. This allows users to keep it in place without the need for constant removal. Its primary purpose is to help users increase the internal storage of their machine. For example, if users have a 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB machine and find it lacking in the future, they can easily purchase and insert this card.
The second purpose is to cover the unattractive SD card slot on MacBook Pro 14' or 16' M1 models. The model code is Lite 330. JetDrive models 130, 350, 360 are intended for older MacBook models. If users accidentally buy the wrong model, it may not fit properly or protrude from the slot.
The prices for the 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants are 36, 64, and 90 USD respectively. This makes it incredibly affordable compared to upgrading memory upfront or after purchasing the device, where memory expansion is often impossible without changing the entire device. However, its speed is not high, with a reading speed of only 75MB/s and a writing speed of 95MB/s.
This card is designed to be permanently attached, making it not easy to remove or insert like a regular SD card. Users need a fingernail to pry it out instead of a normal pull.
It protrudes only about 0.5mm and looks exceptionally sleek.

Transcend has been crafting this card for a long time. Back in the days of MacBooks with SD card slots, it was useful. When Apple removed the SD slot, it became obsolete. Now, with Apple reintroducing SD card slots, it's back in action, fitting seamlessly as it did before.
I tried to capture it clearly so you all can recognize its presence. Typically, when you attach it, you tend to forget about it.

I'm also on the lookout for a cover to conceal the HDMI port; it's both unattractive and rarely used.
