Last year, Samsung decided to hold off on releasing the FE due to chip shortages and the global economic downturn. However, recent reports indicate that the South Korean company plans to unveil it later this year.

While many ponder whether Samsung will discontinue the Fan Edition line, a fresh report from Hankooki reveals that the FE will indeed grace the scene later this year. Moreover, sources suggest that Samsung will not pursue the development of the Galaxy A74 to compete in the same price bracket as the S23 FE. Additionally, Samsung may introduce the Galaxy S23 FE in more countries this year compared to the Galaxy S21 FE, which only made appearances in select Asian, European, and American markets.
It's worth noting that Samsung has sold over 10 million units of the Galaxy S20 FE. Despite the Galaxy S21 FE not achieving similar feats, its sales still outstripped those of the Galaxy A73, which only managed to move 3 million units. Consequently, it would be logical for Samsung to bid farewell to one of these product lines to simplify consumer decision-making when selecting a premium mid-range smartphone from the company.
Presently, there isn't a wealth of information available regarding the specifications of the Galaxy S23 FE. Some earlier leaks suggest that this phone could utilize Samsung's new Exynos 2300 SoC. Let's wait and see!
