Some of these items were so large and cumbersome that considerable manpower and effort were required to transport them to the Lord's Palace. The palace gardens were adorned with rare trees brought from various places. However, such opulent and unsustainable lifestyles led to the downfall of the Lord. In 1782, Lord Trịnh Sâm passed away, leading to chaos and ultimately the demise of the Trịnh dynasty as Nguyễn Huệ's uprising swiftly brought an end to their reign.
