Ever thought of capturing selfies from a hundred meters away? It's bound to be fascinating, isn't it?
Revamp Your Travel Selfies
Do Something Absolutely Crazy

Instead of posing awkwardly, try something natural like reaching out, shouting, letting your hair go wild in the wind, or attempting something you've never done before. It brings excitement and a natural flair to your photos.
Bring Along a Selfie Stick

This is the selfie tool that any selfie enthusiast must have. Selfie sticks come in various forms nowadays, from the tripod type with three legs to those leaning on shoulders. While some places may ban selfie sticks and in a few cases, they might cause trouble, using them safely and responsibly will capture fantastic shots.
Choose Lighting and Timing Wisely

For photographers, whether taking selfies or professional shots, lighting and timing are paramount. The best time is during soft, dry sunlight for the most enchanting and satisfying pictures. The ideal time to capture photos is before 8 am and after 4 pm (for summer).
Selfie Photography Isn't Just About Faces

This belief limits you significantly. Learn from influential bloggers who create admirable, profound images. When not confident in your posing skills, capturing shots without focusing on the face can be a lifesaver. Plus, it increases the chances of getting diverse scenes in your photos.
Bring Along Your Friends

Capturing solo moments can be lonely and prone to 'freezing' expressions. So, when traveling in a crowd, don't forget to invite all your friends for some group shots. With a larger group, you'll feel more at ease, and it becomes effortless to create unique and quirky poses together.
Focus on the Surroundings

Remember you're on vacation, so 'favor' the scenery a bit more. Otherwise, your travel photo album might end up being just a collection of faces.
Capture Selfies from a Distance of Hundreds of Meters
If you're bored with typical photo styles, try an entirely new approach, part of a project by the National Tourism Board to promote tourism in Vietnam. Instead of manually or stick-assisted selfies, you're provided with a completely new experience, capturing vast landscapes from hundreds of meters away.

The Super Selfie experimental site is located on Thanh Nien Street (Hanoi), opposite Trấn Quốc Pagoda. Visitors get free wifi access to download a dedicated app, scan codes to connect with the wide-angle camera, positioned hundreds of meters away.
After reaching the designated spot and pressing the capture button, you'll receive a close-up portrait (cropped for Facebook avatar and cover photo sizes), a wide-angle shot featuring the stunning scenery of Truc Bach Lake in the foreground and West Lake in the background. Additionally, you'll get a captivating zoom-in/zoom-out video sent to your personal email. Each shared photo is expected to showcase the country's beauty, contributing to the promotion of tourism.
The program runs from August 20th to September 4th in Hanoi, followed by My Khe Beach (Da Nang) and Nguyen Hue Pedestrian Street (Ho Chi Minh City) towards the year-end.
