Catastrophe is set to offer a free demo on Steam.
Debuting in early 2021, the game Tai Ương (The Scourge) left the Vietnamese gaming community spellbound with its first Teaser. With a clip just over 2 minutes long, Tai Ương brought viewers a mix of curiosity and of course, plenty of chilling fear. Every element used in this game embodies the essence of Vietnam.

Tai Ương is built upon real-life stories in Vietnam. What struck players the most through its first teaser was the final piece of news: 'Horrible accident, four missing female victims: Early Sunday morning on…, a horrible accident occurred… However, 4 female passengers are missing without a trace, currently being searched for by authorities and locals.'
Many viewers were intrigued by the newspaper clipping about the fatal traffic accident but unable to locate the bodies of the 4 missing female passengers. Numerous gamers eagerly await each day for further information teased by Beaztek Studio, revealing more about this Vietnamese horror game. And in a recent post on its official fan page, Beaztek Studio shared more about the development progress of Tai Ương with the gaming community.
Accordingly, Beaztek Studio will introduce more new antagonistic factions into Tai Ương in the coming time, and the antagonistic character expected to appear in the upcoming demo set to release next January entirely for free on the Steam platform and possibly other platforms. Beaztek Studio stated that the gameplay demo will unveil the main storyline of Tai Ương.

After releasing the demo, Beaztek Studio will temporarily halt the development of Catastrophe for a period, citing the need for sponsorship to fund further development of Catastrophe as well as preparing for the official release of this game. Currently, Beaztek Studio stated that they will not accept donations from gamers but will still acknowledge gamers who have donated previously in the credits of the game demo.
The official release date of the blockbuster Catastrophe is still unclear at present. However, according to Beaztek Studio's official website, the studio has developed over 50% of the game and is preparing to launch the first demo of Catastrophe for the gaming community in the near future.
