Lang Biang Church
Lang Biang Church, located in Lat commune, serves as the longtime residence of the Lat, Lach, and Co Ho ethnic groups. It is considered the center for community, religious, and cultural activities of the local people. Established in 1950, it is the parish church of the largest ethnic community in the Diocese of Da Lat.
The architecture of Lang Biang Church, though simple, exudes solemnity. Its red tiled roof, walls made of orange bricks, and clean cement courtyard surrounded by lush green trees create a serene ambiance. Particularly, the interior space of the church is very spacious.
A tall ritual pole, about 6 meters high, stands next to the Preaching Hall, with a sacred crucifix underneath. The most impressive feature is the buffalo head with its curved horns embracing the ritual pole, symbolizing the strength in the spiritual culture of the local people.
Because of these unique features, this place has become an unmissable tourist destination in Dalat when you visit the Lang Biang plateau.
Tung Lam Church
Tung Lam Church is situated along the route to Suoi Vang, approximately 7km from Da Lat. It serves as the spiritual center for a parish closely associated with the Catholic Church in Vietnam. The church has been standing for many years and recently, with the permission of the Church, the parish decided to undergo renovations.
Tung Lam Church has been rebuilt on a vast piece of land, distinguished by its red roof and a prominent crucifix at the entrance.
The grounds of Tung Lam Church feature expansive grassy hills and shady trees, making it a tourist attraction in Da Lat for visitors.
Da Thien Church
Da Thien Church is located in Ward 8, Dalat City, built in 1957 according to the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. This church, constructed long ago, still retains its ancient architectural features intact.
