Tennis, also known as lawn tennis, is a popular sport worldwide, with numerous professional tournaments held annually. The game features two forms of play: singles, a one-on-one match, and doubles, a two-player team match. Each player uses a tennis racket to hit a rubber ball covered in felt over a net into the opponent's court.
International Standard Tennis Court DimensionsAccording to the fundamental rules of tennis set by the International Tennis Federation (ITF), the court dimensions are as follows:
Court Dimensions- A standard tennis court is a rectangular flat surface with the following dimensions:
Length of a singles tennis court is 78 feet (23.77m) with a width of 27 feet (8.23m).
For doubles tennis, the court length remains 78 feet, but the width increases to 36 feet (10.97m).

- The standard match net in tennis is stretched horizontally across the court, parallel to the baseline, and evenly divided on both sides. The net's height is 914mm at the center and 1.07m at the two net posts.
- The two ends of the net are tightly secured with ropes or metal wires with a diameter of 0.8cm to anchor the posts securely.
- The top band of the net is white, forming a width of approximately 5cm, and should not exceed 6.35cm in width.

- The net posts on a tennis court must be either circular or square, without protruding decorations, and should be painted in approved colors. If using circular posts, they must meet a diameter requirement of 15cm, and for square posts, the sides should be 15x15cm. The center of the post should be placed 0.914m outside the baseline on each side.
- The line at the end of each court is known as the baseline, and the lines on the sides are the sidelines. The serving limit lines run parallel to the tennis net. The distance from the limit line to the net is 6.4m.
- Note: The width of the boundary lines on the court is 5cm (or wider than 2.5cm and narrower than 5cm, with the exception of the end lines, which can be up to 10cm wide).
