Starting from 25/10, App Store will feature an abundance of new advertisements

In this manner, developers can now run advertisements for their apps directly on the Today tab, making it stand out as prominent content that users will see first upon entering the app. Previously, the Today tab only displayed curated content from the App Store team. Additionally, developers will also be able to promote their apps on other app pages within the App Store.

Advertising on the App Store was previously limited to search keyword results and the 'Featured' section of the Search tab. With the two new formats, the App Store will offer a total of 4 advertising options for developers.

Related to advertising, Bloomberg reports that Apple aims to triple its current advertising revenue to at least $10 billion annually in the future. Apart from the App Store, Apple also plans to launch advertising for search results within Apple Maps next year.
