The center, situated at 47 Hang Dau Street, Hanoi (Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism), will also deploy a network of informational kiosks for visitors. Its responsibilities include promoting tourism, gathering direct information from visitors or kiosks, and collaborating with law enforcement to address concerns or complaints from tourists.

At present, Hanoi boasts a total of 3,081 lodging establishments. In the first half of the year, the number of international visitors to Hanoi reached 1,184,500 (a 15% increase compared to the same period last year), while domestic visitors reached 7,911,000 (an 8% increase). These are promising figures for the tourism sector. However, recent occurrences of scams and disturbances in the city have posed a threat to the tourism environment, affecting the city's image. Therefore, with a commitment to cleaning up this environment, the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism has decided to establish the aforementioned center, slated to officially commence operations on August 1st.
