Starting July 1st, an increase in the entrance fees for exploring the ancient urban area of Hoi An will take effect.

The People's Committee of Hoi An City in Quang Nam province has recently issued a decision to adjust and raise the entrance fees for the ancient town area specifically for Vietnamese visitors.

According to the decision of the People's Committee of Hoi An City, the entrance fee for Vietnamese visitors to visit the Heritage of Hoi An will increase from 60,000 VND/ticket for three cultural sites to 80,000 VND/ticket for four cultural sites. The price for foreign visitors remains unchanged: 120,000 VND/ticket for six tourist attractions.

According to the City People's Committee, the purpose of the ticket price increase is to meet the sightseeing needs of Vietnamese tourists, increase the number of cultural sites from 3 to 4, and ensure funding for the preservation of Hoi An's World Cultural Heritage. The new ticket prices will be applied from July 1st.
