The Hue Imperial Night Street opened on the evening of April 22, 2022. The night street space is organized on the axis of 23-8 and Le Huan, next to the Hue Imperial City with 4 main spaces, including Ancient Hue, Royal Palace, Folk Hue, and Hue culinary space.
Step back into the ancient space of Hue's former imperial capital at the Hue Imperial Night Street
On April 22nd, thousands of locals and tourists flocked to the night street for entertainment. The city organized various activities for the people such as playing traditional games, ceremonial changing of guards following the Nguyen dynasty protocol, street music performances. Some stalls also showcased local traditional products.


This is the third pedestrian street in Hue city, following Nguyen Dinh Chieu along the Perfume River and the Western street on Vo Thi Sau, Chu Van An, and Pham Ngu Lao streets.

The Hue Imperial Night Street combines pedestrian streets and artistic programs with 3 main stages, 4 community performance points, and 27 booths displaying handicraft products. There is also participation from the community with traditional handicrafts and arts such as Hue ao dai, kites, drums, Thanh Tien paper flowers, conical hats, fans, products made from lotus...

Artistic performances and royal court recitals also take place at the West Deficiency Stage and the Noon Gate stage with artistic programs, Memories of Ancient Hue, Hue songs, Hue drama Tran Bo marries a single wife, Tuong masks, Riddles, puppetry, Bát Tiên longevity dance, rice threshing song, Chau van, ceremonial changing of guards...


In addition, the night street also organizes Hue culinary space including tea, cakes, jams, Hue products, tea, medicinal herbs, fragrances.

The Hue Imperial Night Street promotes tourism development, contributing to the city's economic development. The night street is usually held on Friday and Saturday evenings, bringing interesting experiences to tourists, contributing to promoting beautiful images of the people and the dreamy ancient capital land.

With the aim of recreating the ancient Hue space for people and tourists to enjoy various forms of recitation, experience folk games, and taste typical Hue cuisine, the Hue Imperial Night Street contributes to becoming a unique and attractive highlight in the Hue tourism picture at night.


Currently, the Traditional Art Theater of the Imperial City of Hue is ready to serve the night street program and at performance points in the Hue heritage area. Traditional artistic programs convey to the public the cultural heritage that Hue is preserving through art forms such as ancient drama, chamber Hue songs, recitation, court music, court dance...


Organizing the night street also helps diversify tourism products, create additional areas for entertainment, cultural and artistic exchanges, explore cuisine, and nighttime activities in the city of Hue.
