There exist several methods to disable automatic updates on Windows 10. In this article, I'll share with you the two simplest methods:
Disabling Windows 10 Updates via System Settings
Step 1: Right-click on the PC icon in the bottom left corner and select Manage.

Step 2: Pay attention to the left column, then choose Service and Applications. Next, click on Service.

Step 3: After clicking on the Service button, this table will appear, and your task is to scroll down and select Windows Update.

Step 4: Check the box next to Windows Update, select Startup Type, click Stop, then choose Disabled. Finally, press OK.

After clicking Disable, the automatic Windows update mode has been turned off. If you want to activate updates again, simply reverse the process by changing the value in Startup Type.
Turning off Windows 10 Update via Group Policy Editor available in the system
