1. Step-by-Step Guide to Online Renewal of Driving Licenses at Home
Currently, the Vietnam Road Administration officially allows online registration. The categories eligible for online driving license renewal include:
- Level 3 License Renewal Service: Applicable to individuals with licenses managed by the Ministry of Transport, with a remaining or overdue validity period of less than 3 months.
- Level 4 International License Issuance Service: For Vietnamese and foreign residents with permanent residence cards in Vietnam, holding a national driving license issued by Vietnam in PET material, still valid for use.

2. Step-by-Step Procedure for Reissuing Lost Motorcycle and Car Licenses Without Retaking the Test
Step 1: Prepare the necessary documents for reissuing your driving license as follows:
- Application for license replacement or renewal
- Attached copies for verification include: ID card, Citizen Identification Card (CCCD), passport (for Vietnamese citizens) or valid passport (for foreigners, Vietnamese residents abroad).
- Driver's health certificate issued by district or provincial hospitals, with a health check within the last 6 months (not required for the renewal of indefinite A1, A2, A3 licenses).
- License replacement fee: 135,000 VND.
Note:
- When applying for a driver's license replacement, the licensing authority will take a photo, so there's no need to bring a pre-taken photo.
- The photo in the driver's health certificate is 4x6, with a white background (photo studios know it's for a driver's license).
- If the driver's license is lost for more than 3 months, a re-examination is required, and there's an additional form for 'Application for learning and examination for driver's license issuance.'

Step 2. Submit the driver's license replacement documents at the Department of Transportation or the Public Administrative Service Center of the province or city. In Ho Chi Minh City, you can submit them at the following locations.
- 252 Ly Chinh Thang, Ward 9, District 3: Management room for driving license examination.
- 51/2 Thanh Thai, Ward 14, District 10.
- No. 8 Nguyen Anh Thu, Trung My Tay Ward, District 12.
- 937 Ta Quang Buu, Ward 5, District 8.
- 111 Tan Son Nhi, Tan Son Nhat Ward, Tan Phu District: Tien Bo Driving School.
Step 3. After receiving the documents, you will have your photo taken to be printed on a PET driver's license. Pay the 135,000 VND license-making fee and receive a receipt for your application.
Step 4. Completed. You will wait for the driver's license replacement to be processed within 60 days. If your old license is currently seized, you will be called in to pay the fine. Pay attention, everyone.
