Recently, the Tax Department has made it easy for taxpayers to create electronic transaction accounts, enabling them to quickly settle their taxes anytime, anywhere. However, to accomplish this, users need to proceed with registering for an electronic tax transaction account.

Apart from visiting the tax office, you can create and open an electronic tax transaction account online with the following steps. With just a computer, network-connected smartphone, and by following the instructions, you can easily have an account to log in to the tax system.
Note: Mytour provides instructions for individual registration. For businesses, the process is similar, but make sure to select the Business (Organization) option when prompted.
Steps to Register an Electronic Tax Transaction Account for Individuals
Step 1: Visit the Vietnam Tax page HERE.
Step 2: In the upper right corner, click on 'Register'.
Step 3: Enter the tax identification number and verification code in the appropriate fields. If you enter an individual tax number, click on the Individual box. For organizations, click on the Organization box. Then, click 'Register'.

Step 4: Now, enter all necessary information in the empty fields in the form, such as phone number, Email. Then, click 'Continue',
Step 5: The electronic transaction registration form with the tax office will appear. Verify the information to ensure accuracy. Then, click on 'Complete Registration'.
Note:
- When you enter the confirmation code in step 4, a successful registration notification will be sent to the email address you provided. The password will be sent via text message. The account number is also the tax identification number. Log in and change your password.
- If you cannot enter the confirmation code, you need to visit the tax office to complete the registration. When going, remember to bring the appropriate ID card or citizen identification card.
After completing the process of registering for an electronic tax transaction account, your application will be approved. Now, you can easily and quickly conduct tax transactions online on your network-connected device without having to visit the tax office.
