How to Temporarily Hide Your Tinder Account
You can hide your account on Tinder, so others can't find your profile anymore. However, you can still message matches, and they can still view your profile. When looking for new connections, you can reactivate your account anytime.
Step 1: Open the Tinder app, on the main screen tap on the Profile icon (1) at the bottom right corner. Then select Settings (2).
Step 2: In the Settings menu, scroll down and Turn off the Show me on Tinder option.
As a result, your Tinder account is now hidden from new people. Later, when you want to reactivate your account, return to the main page and click Enable Search Mode.
How to permanently delete your Tinder account
If you're sure you no longer want to use Tinder, permanently delete your account. This will also delete all matches and conversations you've saved in the app.
Step 1: Open the Tinder app, switch to the Profile tab (1) at the bottom right corner. Then select Settings (2).
Step 2: Scroll to the bottom of the Settings Menu, choose Delete Account.
Step 3: On the next screen, tap on the line Delete My Account appearing small at the bottom.
Step 4: Select the Reason you want to delete your account (appropriate to your case), then click Delete My Account when asked for verification.
