The screen note app Sticky Notes updates to a new version 2.0.5.0, allowing users to create lists within each note. To do this, users just need to type an asterisk “*” followed by a space to start writing a note.

The app will automatically convert the items you input into sentences in a list format. For users using Windows 10 Fall Creators Update, the app introduces a new Maps view mode when they press or click on an address in the note.

Microsoft's Sticky Notes first appeared on the Microsoft Store for Windows 10 in May 2016. Sticky Notes made its first appearance on Windows Vista as a utility on the computer. It later evolved into a standalone program during the Windows 7 era, dominating the market until the release of the first Windows 10 version. Now, Sticky Notes has become the official app on the Windows Store based on the Microsoft Windows Platform, following the release of the Windows 10 Anniversary Update. The app has been enhanced with additional support for Windows Ink.
