- Admission score: is the total score of 3 subjects/exam of the subject group for admission based on the results of the 2018 National High School Graduation Examination, not multiplied by any coefficient, plus the priority score for subjects, regions (if any). The admission score must meet the minimum score as prescribed by the Ministry of Education and Training, VNU-HCM and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology.

+ For Architecture major: Candidates register to take the 2018 National High School Graduation Examination and apply for admission to the Architecture major at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - VNU-HCM with subject combinations V00 (Mathematics, Physics, Drawing aptitude) or V01 (Mathematics, Literature, Drawing aptitude). At the same time, candidates must register to take the Aptitude test (Drawing and Composition) at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology - VNU HCM and obtain a score for admission (the aptitude test score must not be below 5 points), do not use the aptitude test results from other schools.
