Childbirth Costs under 5 Million VND
Ms. Ánh Hồng (Hanoi) gave birth to baby Bi at Viet Nhật Hospital, with a cost of 1.5 million VND. Initial examination costs were 850,000 VND, cesarean section fees were 900,000 VND, and there were daily nurse services and hygiene for the baby. For a cesarean birth, the total cost was 2.4 million VND (Ms. Hồng had a cesarean birth), while a normal delivery cost 1 million VND. Due to health insurance, she received an 80% discount. The total cost was only about 1.5 million VND.
Ms. Phương Anh (working at the district police in Thanh Trì) had a child with 100% benefits and didn't spend any money for the Bunny Delivery service at the Agricultural General Hospital. Before the cesarean birth, she paid a hospital fee of 3.8 million VND, but after delivery, she was fully refunded 100%.

Childbirth costs for normal delivery at Viet Nhật Hospital (actually the Obstetrics Department of Bach Mai Hospital) range from 1.7 million to 2 million VND, while cesarean birth is around 4 million VND, excluding room charges. The facilities are quite good.
Central Maternity Hospital (Hospital C) requires an admission deposit of 3 million VND and an emergency examination fee of 30,000 VND. Epidural anesthesia costs 1.5 million VND. Mothers are reminded to bring their Health Insurance cards, original ID cards, and photocopies for insurance coverage. The service package is priced at 12 million VND, covering cesarean delivery expenses, a designated doctor's services, and a 5-day stay in the service ward. Family members are allowed to be present in the delivery room with the mother.
Childbirth Costs over 5 million VND
Buu Dien Hospital has fees ranging from 5 to 15 million VND. Pregnant women have two options: giving birth in the insurance area or choosing the service area. The hospital is clean, well-maintained, and has sufficient facilities, making it less crowded than Maternity Hospitals TW and Hanoi.
Hanoi Maternity Hospital charges 11 million VND for voluntary cesarean delivery with the requested doctor and 8 million VND for normal delivery with the requested doctor. Epidural anesthesia costs 1 million VND, and if a failed normal delivery leads to a cesarean, an additional 3 million VND is charged. The maximum amount mothers need to pay is 15 million VND.
Childbirth Costs over 20 million VND
Viet Phap Hospital has significantly higher prices compared to other hospitals, but the costs are justified by the services provided. Normal delivery costs 28.6 million VND, and cesarean delivery costs 49 million VND. The rooms are clean, airy, and the services are excellent, making it suitable for well-off families.
Mytour International Hospital charges from 25 to 50 million VND for both cesarean and normal deliveries. The hospital offers service packages for care and privileges from pregnancy to childbirth.
Hong Ngoc Hospital offers a comprehensive maternity package from 26.6 million VND for normal delivery to 40.55 million VND for cesarean delivery. The all-inclusive childbirth packages range from 19.2 million VND to 33.15 million VND. The expertise of the doctors here is highly praised.

Childbirth Costs under 5 million VND
Tu Du Hospital offers very affordable costs ranging from 1 to 2 million VND (excluding room and service charges) for normal delivery and 1.5 million VND for cesarean delivery. Room charges range from 200,000 to 2.5 million VND. The total cost is approximately 4 million VND and above.
Saigon International Maternity Hospital charges 2 to 3 million VND for normal delivery, 3 to 5 million VND for cesarean delivery, and room charges range from 500,000 to 2 million VND per day.

Childbirth Costs over 5 million VND
Mekong Maternity Hospital charges 1 to 2 million VND for normal delivery, 2 to 4 million VND for cesarean delivery, and room charges range from 300,000 to 2 million VND per day. The total cost is around 10 million VND for normal delivery and 15 to 20 million VND for cesarean delivery (depending on service choices).
Hung Vuong Hospital has costs ranging from 4.5 million to 10 million VND for normal delivery and 8 million to 15 million VND for cesarean delivery (including delivery assistance, room charges, hospital fees, etc.)
Childbirth Costs over 20 million VND
Hanh Phuc International Maternity Hospital caters to financially well-off mothers. Normal delivery costs 25 to 30 million VND, and cesarean delivery is priced at 50 million VND.
