1. Rocket Boosting
The Rocket Launcher, also known as the anti-tank rocket, is not just a weapon. It also provides a swift means of movement across the arena. Typically, shooting at your feet is a bad idea, but not here—aim at the ground to rocket jump as far as you want. You can also wall ride by shooting at walls. Just point the barrel slightly downward, and you'll propel yourself upward. Once you've mastered this movement, you can gain many advantages by exploring vertically.
2. Eliminated from the Arena, but It's Not the End
Remember, no one dies in Rocket Arena. Your goal is to knock opponents off the map. Attacking enemies sends them soaring into the air. The stronger the attack, the farther they fly. You can K.O enemies by pushing them into the Arena Bounds or MegaBlasting them. This also means you should carefully consider where you move—avoid lingering near Arena Bounds where enemies can easily attack. If defeated, don't worry. You'll automatically respawn. Take that time to plan your next move and reflect on the mistakes that led to this outcome. Promise yourself that you'll do better next time.
3. Launching Enemies Out of the Arena
Attacking opponents increases their Blast Meter. The higher the Blast Meter, the farther they fly when hit, and they stay stunned longer. While stunned, players can't use their abilities. The stun duration depends on the Blast Meter level and the damage inflicted by the enemy.
A full Blast Meter puts opponents in Megablast Danger. A player in Megablast Danger can be blasted out of the arena with minimal damage at high speed. Megablasting an opponent not only looks incredibly cool but also gives you a satisfying feeling of accomplishment.
4. Utilize the Dodge Skill
Certainly, getting hit by a rocket is something nobody desires. Luckily, you have the ability to Dodge, making you invincible and allowing rockets to pass through you. You can also use the Dodge skill to escape Hit Stun. Knowing how to leverage the Dodge skill can make a significant difference, so don't forget to use it when the opportunity arises.
5. What Makes You Special?
Not everyone can compete in the Rocket Championship Tour. Every hero in the arena has something special. Each competing opponent possesses their own set of Primary, Secondary, and Special abilities. Some have unique movement abilities tied to their jumps. Plus, most Special skills reset the hero's mid-air jumps, a resource you can use to save yourself from being knocked out. Since everyone has strengths and weaknesses, different rockets, and varying powers, it's best to enter the Practice Mode to explore any new hero thoroughly.
The tips above aren't all-encompassing, but they're enough to get you started. If you're in the mood for more learning, visit the developer's website for additional useful information.
